Kathleen Robertson wins recording competition covering the west highlands

One of my big achievements was having the opportunity to record a demo CD with my current band at the time ' Joy Acoustics' through Studio Ostaig on the isle of skye. The competition was held across the Highlands in Scotland- Joy Acoustics was one of the three acts to be selected to produce a demo CD. Whilst also creating a demo CD for joy acoustics own use- Joy Acoustics also collaborated alongside other artists which created the album ' Big Barn Sessions 2014' which was produced by Hector MacInnes, Murdo Cameron, Ruairidh Graham and Allan Henderson.

Local Talent Shows and School Awards

Kathleen Robertson has been involved with a lot of local events and in her last year of school took the achievement of claiming first prize in her High Schools Talent show. Talent shows have been something Kathleen has always took part in and has become successful in runner up as well as winning the overall show. Kathleen Robertson has also been involved with ' FILMG' creating traditional tracks which were used for her schools submission in the year of 2016.

Kathleen Robertson is now a solo performer however also has ongoing collaborations occasionally with various artists in which she performs alongside. Her live performances opportunities are increasing
